About Copper Mountain

This beautiful mountain paradise is tucked to the south of I-70 just before the climb to Vail Pass. An easy 75 miles from Denver, Copper Mountain Resort provides amazing views, one of the best skiing mountains around, nightlife and dining, great real estate choices, and a host of events and activities year-round.

Copper Mountain Resort is currently owned by Powdr Corporation, having changed hands multiple times since opening in 1972. The summit of the mountain is at 12,313 ft., and the base sits at 9,712 ft. Powdr Corporation is investing heavily in this popular resort, updating several of its’ 23 lifts serving 140 trails and 2,465 acres of skiable terrain.

Activities beyond skiing and snowboarding cater to the dedicated athlete, families, and everyone in between. The Woodward Barn offers year-round training for skiers, riders, skateboarders, BMX, and slopestyle biking. Add in ice skating, snow tubing, zip lining, dog sledding, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling in the winter and you have the makings of a memorable experience.

Summer brings music, food, bike and other festivals along with hiking, mountain biking, chairlift rides, golfing, go-karting, rock-climbing and so much more!
